We are fast approaching our 6 year anniversary. Can you believe that? I sure can’t!

Six years ago I was terrified as I ended an abusive relationship. I didn’t expect child support, and he didn’t disappoint. For a short while I survived on county programs, food stamps and supplemented with our local food shelf.

Now I’m on the other end of things. I am purchasing a table at our local food shelf fundraiser, our second year in a row. When I moved recently, I emptied my house by helping women who had walked away from everything. I’ve completely turned things around.

Now we have a chance to partner with Gathering Hope, a non profit who helps get women and children out of abuse. We will be hosting a Family Fun Fest on Saturday September 21, 2024. There will be goats to pet and feed, face painting, chair massages, live music, a silent auction and raffle prizes, games, and FOOD! There are so many donated items, you can’t miss this!
