Last year we had a male goat that didn’t get banded (neutered) like he was supposed to. That little trouble maker did not stay in the fence like he was supposed to, so we had a baby this year earlier than we have ever had!

After battling fence issues all summer, we found out the previous owner at our farm never had the new fencing tested. So we had several shorts with staples causing the problems. We are hoping 2025 will be an easier year for keeping the boys separated in the fall! At least we have warm weather as the girls start to kid (have babies)!!
