Jamie

Jamie is our dog. She just had a birthday a week ago, so she is 10 now. She is introverted, so it’s pretty hard to get her to sleep in my bed. Watch out if you get near me and she doesn’t trust you, because she is loyal protective of me. She has the energy of a two-year-old and helps us direct the goats to the milking stands every morning. When she was just a puppy she developed a phobia of loud noises, like she goes completely nuts every week when it’s garbage day. She gets really scared when she hears loud trucks, and she tries to hide somewhere.

School has started again, and the buses have started to frequent our neighborhood. This morning when we were milking, we had buses and garbage trucks going by. Jamie has never done this before, but she crawled underneath the goat that Sarah was milking.

She’s a crazy girl, and we love her just the way she is.
