A week at the county fair

It's been a dream of Sarah's to go to the county Fair with her horse. She worked hard to prepare, and bought a trailer to get her horse there. Lady Tuesday we completed packing and with the help of our friend Dave and his awesome yellow truck, we moved into the county fair with lots of other horse families.

It's been exhausting. It's been fun. It's been scary (Sarah got bucked off of her horse for the first time ever). It's been so stressful taking care of goats and dogs at home and handling the fair schedule.

Sarah had three full days of horse events. I lost count of the competitions she was in by day two. She competed at the novice level and did so well. She has tons of ribbons to remember this week by. We've both made new friends and had a blast.

After today's competition and after eating, Sarah crawled under the picnic table and fell asleep. I was just as tired! Tomorrow will be more relaxing and we can get a little more rest. Next week we will get back to making and selling soap.
