Mothers Day Sale
Being a Mom was always something I knew I would be, no matter what. My Mother kept a little memory book of my life, each year it asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. Each year I answered that I wanted to be a Mom. It was such a huge part of who I was.
Savannah fulfilled that dream for me in 1999. Then Sarah in 2003. Those were some of the best years of my life. I loved caring for my children. I loved caring for my friends kids also. We had a swimming pool in Minnetonka (where we started with goats) and there were so many fun memories built with that pool.
Now my oldest has grown up, moved away and gotten married. I hardly see her, divorce is awful (was really hard on her) and I wish I could turn back time to give her one more hug…. but that is not possible.
My youngest Sarah is about to turn 18, so while we see each other with our business all the time, my role as a Mom is about to change. Now after 22 years, I get to parent differently. I get to start to focus on who I am again, and watch my children become who they are without me.
To all of you Mom’s still in the thick of it, hug them tighter. Enjoy every minute. Get through the exhaustion knowing it will get better, but you will miss these years.
We’ve put some new gift sets on the website today that we think Mom’s will love…. use code MOTHERSDAY25 to snag 25% off our website for Mom.
Now to give the goats treats for being so helpful with our pictures today…. and to throw out a couple of bars of soap!
